Changing Priority Categories Served Under Order of Selection

DIRECTOR'S DECLARATION CHANGING PRIORITY CATEGORIES SERVED UNDER ORDER OF SELECTION FOR VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION SERVICES

Whereas, on August 18, 1995, I declared that the Department is under Order of Selection for Vocational Rehabilitation Services and determined that no priority categories could then be served and,

Whereas, on August 26, 1998, I declared that no priority categories shall be served effective September 10, 1998, and,

Whereas, I have reviewed projected resources and projected costs, as provided by Title 9 California Code of Regulations, Sections 7053.5 and 7052, and determined that projected resources are adequate to serve only priority categories that include most severely disabled individuals with significance scale scores of 21 and above,

Now, therefore, I, Brenda Premo, Director of the Department of Rehabilitation, declare that all priority categories that include most severely disabled individuals with significance scale scores of 21 and above shall be served effective January 4, 1999.
