IT Academy

Microsoft IT Academy is an excellent limited time opportunity available for current DOR consumers, provided to us by www.Disabledperson.com in partnership with www.microsoft.com. The computer classes are designed to increase your computer skills that are vital for almost all employment opportunities. These classes reflected on your resume will inform a potential employer that you have the skills and abilities that they are looking to hire.

Important! Please Read!

Required for Microsoft IT Academy Use:

  • Interested consumers, please contact your Counselor or Employment Coordinator for authorization to access the classes.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 will be needed to successfully complete the college level course work offered by IT Academy.

  • Access to a functioning computer with reliable internet connection for extended periods of time.

  • Active Email Address (IT Academy will ONLY except the following email addresses; MSN , Hotmail , Microsoft Outlook and Windows Live)

  • If you require assistive technology to access the IT Academy, please consult with your Counselor.
